You will be seeing A LOT of sunshine prevailing over the next several days! Not wanting to question it... but why?
The culprit for all the beautiful sunshine is a strong ridge of high pressure DOMINATING the Mid-Atlantic and much of the northeastern region through the week! It will steadily move offshore during the weekend so the dry stretch continues into early next week!
BEAUTIFUL 7-DAY FORECAST ALERT! The area of high pressure will yield a more southerly wind flow, allowing high temperatures to climb above normal, into the lower-70s as we head into the weekend! This will keep us about 8-12 degrees above normal for this time in November. Also, note that overnight lows trend milder as well given some of that warmer air flowing into the region! Make sure to get outside and enjoy the lovely conditions while they stick around!
