A frontal boundary will cross the area late Friday. This will bring the opportunity for a few thundershowers this evening. Gusty winds and downpours will accompany these thundershowers.
Unfortunately, the frontal boundary meanders about here in the Mid-Atlantic and brings additional showers to our area this weekend.
The precipitation is needed. The latest Drought Monitor reveals that 39% of the state is currently 'abnormally dry'.
