Day 1 out of a 3 day storm is behind us. Snowfall totals ranged from 2-4" and warmer air is invading southern Maryland right now. As a result, the Winter Storm Warning has been dropped for Southern Baltimore county, Howard and Anne Arundel county. Replacing it is a Winter Weather Advisory until 10am Monday with ice as the main concern. Trying to put salt out or shovel on Monday will be uncomfortable as winds will gust near 25-30 mph.
There will be a calmness to Monday morning until snow picks up again around noon for areas that are still under a Winter Storm Warning until Tuesday at 6AM. Snowfall totals are changing with every model run. One thins it keeps signaling is that somewhere on the MD/PA line, we could see about 5". That is just Monday though. Snow showers will continue to be scattered through Tuesday. When it is all said and done, Snowfall totals for Baltimore City will be near 6".
