January has been above average in temperatures and so far we have received 3.03" of precipitation. 1.5 of the precipitation has been snow. We are in a snow drought this season thus far. We are tied for 3rd place for a snow-less season coming in at 1.8" of snow.
Dry conditions will continue through the rest of this week with a slight chance of a flurry or sprinkle Thursday (tomorrow) but the better chance for precipitation comes late Saturday overnight into early Sunday morning.
Right now with this next system, it looks as though we will get mainly rain with a wintry mix north and west.
After the potential wintry mix, temps will warm into the upper 50s and low 60s for the beginning of next week.
Stay tuned!
