So far this season, Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport has measured well over a foot of snow.
Officially, through Friday morning, the airport recorded 17.9 inches of snow, which is just under the average of 18.3 inches by this date.
And the snow this season has made an impact on the region with many area school districts experiencing multiple delays and cancellations. For instance, some school districts have even had to extend the end of the school year because of the wintry weather events.
And more snow is likely heading into Sunday and Monday, with a fast moving storm system sweeping across the region.
