Unseasonably cold temperatures will continue to linger across the area this weekend. High pressure will be building to the south of us, so we should see plenty of sunshine, but that won't help us out much--Temperatures struggle to climb into the 30s.
Another system will be approaching the area on Sunday--but it will be significantly different than the one that rolled through the area on Wednesday. This system will arrive with, little moisture, slightly warmer temperatures-- any accumulations should be relatively minor and limited to the ridge tops. We'll see moisture building into the region early Sunday and most of it exits midday.
There's another shot of some flurry action early Tuesday....and wintry mix looks possible Christmas eve into Christmas morning.
