Well, we'll get one day of sunshine in between the showers of Wednesday and our next weather system. Another cold front will be marching across the northeast and it will bring scattered showers in the area, especially Friday afternoon and evening. Canadian high pressure will build into the area by Saturday morning--leading to lots of sunshine. That sunshine will come at a cost--morning wind chills will be cold...really cold.....
Even when you don't factor in the wind-- morning temperatures will be cold....nearly 15 degrees below the seasonal average. Numbers that we would typically see in January-- not May! Some areas will have temperatures near freezing, so the National Weather Service will probably issue some freeze/frost advisories as we get closer to the weekend. Temperatures will slowly warm as we head into the start of next week, with morning lows approaching the mid 40s by Monday morning.
