COLUMBIA, Md. — During the pandemic, people have become a little creative to celebrate our milestones.
That's what a pair of Columbia parents did for their son, who is officially a teen.
Marcin Davies turned 13 on Sunday and he's been planning his birthday party since December.
Unfortunately, the coronavirus put those plans on hold, but his friends and family drove by to say happy birthday.
"He still wants one. He said it's postponed and not canceled with emphasis on the difference in verbs, so we'll see."
Marcin's family said he is a straight “A” student and he even took it upon himself to tutor his younger cousins so they would stay occupied during the stay-at-home order.
