Friends and family gather to celebrate woman's 100th birthday

It was supposed to be a huge blowout for Miss Vonderlear's 100th birthday, but coronavirus changed that.

But her family and friends still wanted to do something, so they decorated their cars and drove by her house honking, waving and playing music to just let her know that they care and are celebrating her!

"When she comes to our center she's just a joy to be around. So we are just thrilled that we are able to celebrate her in this manner," said Renee Dash.

This was organized by the League for People with Disabilities. Miss Vonderlear has been a participant there for 6 years.
