Happy New Year!
We began the new year on a soggy note. Unfortunately, there is more rain in the forecast this week. Tuesday morning there is the chance for rain as a warm front moves in. Temperatures will respond accordingly with highs in the mid to upper 50s. More rain is possible Monday evening as the cold front passes through the area. Behind the cold front, temperatures will drop significantly with highs on Wednesday in the low to mid 40s. Temperatures will be even colder on Thursday and Friday with highs only in the upper 30s. Besides the chilly temps on Wednesday and Thursday, it will be windy with gusts up to 35-40 mph.
Tired of the rain? Well, since it is winter, how about we switch to the chance for snow?
A winter storm may impact the Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast coasts. At this time, Saturday afternoon looks to be the arrival time for the precipitation which, right now, looks to be snow. It is too early to tell how much snow we will receive so stay tuned!
