TOWSON, Md. — GBMC has been a staple in the community and on Friday it was recognized for its work.
GBMC Healthcare System was recognized for best practice with the 2019 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation's highest presidential honor for performance excellence.
"GBMC has been working really hard to improve and we are so proud to be the only healthcare organization to achieve a best practice distinction," said Dr. John Chessare, President and CEO of GBMC Healthcare System.
The GBMC Healthcare System was also the only organization to receive a best practices recognition this year.
