BALTIMORE — Fall is here, which means flu season is here.

According to the CDC, flu activity begins to increase in October. With the country’s healthcare systems already responding to COVID-19, experts say it’s more important than ever to get a flu vaccine this year.

Giant food held a mobile flu clinic Wednesday at one of its locations on York Road in Baltimore.

Shots were administered by Giant pharmacists. Patients didn't need appointments, and anyone could get a shot regardless of where they live.

Pharmacists also gave out non-flu shots as well.

Giant Food will be holding flu clinics across the region in the future.
